Royalty split calculator

Enter each collaborator's percentage and, optionally, total revenue to split.

How this works

Add each collaborator's name and their agreed percentage. The tool checks your split adds up to 100% and, if you enter a revenue amount, shows exactly how much each person gets.

Frequently asked questions

Does everyone need an account with the same distributor to get paid automatically?

For DistroKid's automatic Splits feature specifically, yes — each collaborator needs their own DistroKid account to receive their share directly. Otherwise you'd need to pay them manually yourself.

What if the percentages don't add up to 100%?

Then the split isn't complete yet — adjust the numbers with your collaborators until they add up to exactly 100%, before you release anything.

Should producers and featured artists be included in the split too?

That's a business decision you agree on with your collaborators, not something a calculator decides for you — this tool just helps you do the math once you've agreed. Writing it down in a split sheet before release avoids disputes later.
